W123 Toronto area - free to good home

I posted this on the W123 forum a few day ago, but I porbably should have put it here. I'm new to posting here.

I have a 1980 250 that has been sitting in covered storage for several years. Blue with blue cloth interior. I was in the process of restoring it but other priorities got in the way. I can't see myself getting around to doing anything with it in the foreseeable future - so if you're interested and want to come and haul it away, it's yours.

It's a European import I think - as far as I have been told this model wasn't sold here (in Canada), but it's basically identical to an early 80s 300 - except for the carburetted 2.5 litre engine. It has a brand new windshield (i.e. installed but the car has never been driven since then), mostly decent body panels and doors, the front fenders and hood are off the car and have very minimal rust, definitely restorable, some brand-new underhood sheet metal parts still in the MB boxes, etc.), decent rad, Euro headlights, good alloy rims on roadworthy but not stellar rubber, engine was running when the car was mothballed. Basically it's a pretty good parts donor IMHO.

It's in a drive shed about 10 km north of Guelph Ontario Canada. Sitting there for another winter isn't going to do it much good. I've been thinking of calling a wrecker to haul it away, but that seems to me like a shame if it would help someone keep their W123 4-door on the road.

I've now got some digital photos taken. If there's any interest out there, let me know.

Cheers
