| Atif, if you want to post on the board the happenings of events in your purchase, lets not censor out some of the events. Lets put it all out there.

1. Does the car over heat? Answer NO MY REPLY I live in the desert in New Mexico where it is typically 100 or hotter daily in the summer. When the car left my home it was NOT running hot.
2. Is the transmission jerky? Answer NO MY REPLY When you bought the car, there was 62,xxx miles. Car rcvd. its 60k service approx. 2 months before you bought it and my mechanic looked at the trans. and suggested I NOT do a transmission service on it because the fluid was PERFECTLY clean and the car SHIFTED AS SMOOTH AS SILK. I did however based on his suggestions, changed both the flex disks due to wear.
3. Is the engine sound the way a diesel sounds? Answer YES MY REPLY I have owned other MB diesels, and it did not sound any differently that any other diesels I have owned, driven, or heard running.
If you revisit the conversations we had prior to the purchase, you will recall that I:
A. Offered to provide you the name and phone number of the shop that had done the 60k service on the car just before you bought it so this shop could offer their insight.
B. Offered to provide you the name and phone number of the shop that had done the regular scheduled services on the car so this shop could offer their insight.
C. Suggested that either you come to see the car before you purchase it.
D. Have an independent service come inspect the car prior to purchase.
Did you take me up on any of the items listed above to learn more about the car? NO
I truly am sorry this did not work out for you. But I do not feel I should be considered at fault here.
