It's an 1989 560 SEL and the engine runs flawlessly without burning oil or a single leak. Transmission redone as well as the rear differential and of course the notorious hydraulic rear suspension needed to be tended to three years ago. The sunroof is jammed and I am in the process of repairing the guide for the rear passenger window. Not bad for a car that's almost 20 years old. I wonder if newer S classes can achieve what this old geezer can do with reasonable expenses... |
