Could be an electrical gremlin here?

I pulled off the oil sensor connector at the oil pan and the windshield washer light came on. Jumping the sensor directly to the 4 pin cluster made other warning lights come on but the oil gauge was still dead. Maybe the gauge is just "DEAD!". I am not aware of a separate fuse just for the oil gauge. All other gauges and lights work OK!
