| all the six cylinder 126s had a manual transmission as an option. mercedes hasnt used a manual transmission on a V8 since the mid/ late 70s and only on the 3.5 liter R109 SLs and some of the W116s. precious few of them exist anymore if any.
id wager theres little difference between the 126 and 124 manual transmissions.
