| I would expect the oil consumption to be below 0.1 L/1000 km....I know they say up to 0.8 is "normal".
My smart cdi goes 10,000 km between services/oil changes, and I never have to top it up; in fact not more than 0.3 L of oil is consumed in 10,000 km.
