| I have an 04 CLK 500 with COMAND. You should have a key labeled SVC. Press that, then settings, then you'll see the AUX button. I listen to my iPod connected to the jack in the glove box with a long-ish cable that I run under the dash so I can control the iPod right in front of me. This, of course, does not offer iPod integration, nor does it charge the iPod as the integration kit would, but I'll save the several hundred dollars, thank you, and control it myself.
