My car is a 1991 W124 230E.. and i noticed these things happened to it in this flaming summer:
1- the air conditioning is so ineffective, and when i compare it to the AC of my other
car (Toyota Camry 1999) i see my MB AC as so premitive it doesnt cool anything...
2- the temperature of the engine is always high and never below 80, and with the AC on its around 90!!!!

so people, do u think i have a problem with my car or is this normal ? i mean they say W124 isnt designed to function in such hot enviroments??

Yeah Saudi heat is something else. My 98 Toyota Camry, did a fantastic job there !! Whereabouts are you ?
