With the roof rack on it definately cuts the noise with both the sunroof open and closed since the rack wind howl is audible even with the sunroof closed and no deflector. Once the deflector is on the noise is 90% gone when the sunroof is closed and %70 gone when open.<br> Without the roof rack(Not really sure since I have the roof rack on all the time) I doubt the deflector would make much of a difference when the roof is closed. It should make a difference when the sun roof is open as even with the roof rack mine now makes less noise than before when I had no roof rack and the smaller deflector.<br> <br> Regards,<br> Mike |
