Jeff,

I reset my server last night and it is back up. This link should give you a good idea of what the mercedes intake looks like. Mercedes has an upper and lower intake. 450slc megasquirt install

The Mercedes has two air ports on the upper intake for (Idle + cold start). The two ports are for the left cylinder bank and the right cylinder bank. A piece of rubber tubing shaped like a "Y" bring these two ports into one airstream. From this one airstream the cold start injector is plumbed first. The idle adjustment screw and the high idle warm up regulator are then plumbed further down line of the cold start valve.

I am currently using this stock air port plumbing with the coldstart injector plumbed in and disconnected. I plan on removing the cold start injector, idle adjustment screw and warmup regulator and replace them with a single IAC valve. I have a GM stepper IAC and a chunk of aluminum to mount it in. This is a bit dificult to fit under the hood in a reasonable manner and I plan on finding an inline IAC valve with hose barb fittings.

It was much easier getting my engine running with the stock idle hardware than it would have been to fabricate the IAC hardware from the start. This stock setup is working very nicely and the only reason I am planning on swapping to an inline IAC is to clean things up under the hood and make them look nicer.
