| I think I may have solved it, although, I will really have to wait for more rain to be sure.
I wound up using a product called "Shower Power' which my wife uses to clean the haze off the glass in the shower.
I have wet down the windscreen after cleaning it with this stuff and it doesn't appear to have the greasy streaks on it anymore - but time will tell.
Don't know if that stuff is sold anywhere else.
