| Thanks for the part #'s,that should help, and the taxi comment was a joke, but the water splashup problem is real ! Come to Quebec, we have potholes that can eat B class cars for lunch and sometimes do !! Water was trapped in my bonnet, maybe from rain hitting the front grill at high speed or from splashing. The water stains on the interior of our bonnets attest to the fact that something is splashing up and staying trapped in the front low areas of the bonnet due to no drainage. I solved the problem as the bonnet posting explained. Cheers, Derek |
