Picture Posting Walkthrough. DIY!

Here is a fun walkthrough via imageshack for all those who keep asking how to post pictures.

On imageshack.us obviously you know how to browse and search for the picture that you want. Shown in the picture below, i am using a picture from the Hawaii Mini GTG I Had With E2H for example. Here you can see I chose the picture and did not select to resize it or remove the size reference from thumbnail. 1. because I already resized it in my microsoft paint application or what ever image editing software you chose to use, and 2. because I wont be posting a thumbnail.

After uploading the picture Imageshack gives you a variety of options. Copy the direct link to URL as shown in the next picture.

After selecting the text that I highlighted. Copy the link and post it inside two IMG tags to give you the full picture.

So in the end your pictures will come out like this

You can also use the thumbnail preview if you choose to hotlink it to the big image by copying and pasting the text provided for you in the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" section. As you can see below, you are able to click the picture and get directed to the full view of the picture

IF you do however choose to resize through imageshack then select the option and resize to a 640x480 picture as shown in the picture below.

Then hit "upload" which brings you to the next screen where once again Choose the LAST option at the bottom, shown highlighted again and copy that into your IMG tags

Copy the highlighted text into your IMG tags. as shown here

Then after your done you get this wondrous result

I prefer to edit the size of my own picture through Microsoft Paint. By simply adjusting it down in size via pressing CTRL+W and making the stretch smaller by percentages at a time till I am happy with the result. There are other programs that do the same result. But its just a simple program that all windows PC's have that gets the job done.

Hope this helps you guys who keep asking how to post up pictures...If not..OH well.
