HI everyone.
I have been off the forum since early last winter. I'm back now. If anyone is still interested, the speakers have been indoors in a clean box and are still available.
The replacement speakers (for tristanrogers) are Pioneer TS-A4670R. These were absolutely the best sounding I could find, and with a little wiggle here and there fit the stock locations just fine, even allowing me to refit the stock grilles.
I got mine from Crutchfield.
Though they're a significant improvement over the stock, after using them for almost a year, I'm going to wire up a powered bass speaker to fill out the sound. My only difficulty is where to put it. I'm thinking of one of the super-thin under the seat types. I'm open to suggestions, and I'll post info about whatever I did once it's done.
