Interestingly, the sedan diesels currently being sold in 45 states are referred to as "Bluetec", but the ML320CDI is not. Neither currently use urea injection. Mercedes uses the "bluetec" designation to describe the current technology they call the "clean diesel", and though we think of urea injection being included in this, MBZ looks at the term as more generic / general in what they feel it describes.
