| OK. Just finished changing the transfer case fluid. Here's the method I used to get the new Dexron III into the case;
I bought around 5 feet of 5/16 inch clear plastic tubing from a local auto store. Then I shoved a funnel (really hard) down into it. I lay under the car and held the end of the tube into the fill hole on the case and my wife poured the fluid into the funnel as she stood beside the car. Basically, as advised elsewhere, we filled until it overflowed. Then I just re-installed the plug and the job was done.
Now, let's hope that the infernal clicking goes away in the next few hundred miles!!!
