All you have to do to lower the rear end is to tweak the height adjuster

Can you provide some more detail? I've been trying to play with my height adjustment, but can't get it to do much, yet. As per my interpretation of the service manual, I've been sequentially lengthening the rod, but it hasn't dropped the height. So, do I need to shorten it, instead?
