| I see these all the time with aftermarket mufflers that in my opinion makes them sound like loud sewing machines or model airplanes.
My favourite times are when I am driving my classic V12 E-Type Jaguar.
Almost silent (Jaguar was "Proper and Quiet") with flat torque from 1000 rpm to redline and a range of 0 to 90 MPH in second gear.
I usually leave them way in the distance before even hitting my first shift, but by then my speed is quite illegal so it's into third and slow her down.
Not bad for an old 1973 car.
