It looks like it will probably be a MY 2009 with availablility possible during 2008. I know the Calfornia air resources board has not yet signed off on the urea injection system required to meet the standard. By law, emission control systems are required to be passive on the part of the owner/driver, which the urea system is not. Mercedes is attempting to get this variance approved.
