brabus.slk, i think you can do that ONLY if you want to MELT the socket if not the whole housing.

I heard that the reason the relay is there is because it reduce the amount of voltage that gets to the lights, if not to control and switch of the driving light to high beam when high is activated....this will elimate BOTH lights being on and thus drawing too much heat to melt the assembly....

I could be wrong but guys...do you have any suggestions? Does removing and by passing the relay works?
