Wouldn't need much prep (I'm not good at filling and sanding - takies me ages to get the right result) - just matting and degreasing. Shame I don't have access to a bodyshop that would just let me do all the prep and charge just for painting. I'd be tempted to replace the bonnet with the newer one - like on your car.
I'm about 30 miles from London, Herts/Beds borders and it's not snowing here yet (I'm stuck at home with flu so I'm getting really frustrated).
So what business are you in now? |
I retired for a while & I'm now a hypnotherapist

Still work on friends cars in my spare time though, just can't seem to leave the trade totally

I'm currently putting together my '69 Camaro Z/28 for historic circuit racing (hence the user name). If you need your Merc painting in a few months time (it'll take me that long to finish the Camaro), give me a shout & I'll try to help out
