| If you have a metal roof, the shade slides with it, with the glass roof it has a grille in it, and can can move with the glass or manually.
It seems it was an option and then became standard. The 92 Service manual shows 3.5 hrs to retro and required the glass, 4 brackets, 2 bellows, a trim cover, and a color matched headliner panel. It appears the headliner is removed, the metal, and sliding panel are tossed, new brakets are installed, glass is installed with bellows, they show a special tool, modified vise grip. I probably helps to have the donor car. The parts list shows a different seal with metal and glass, but in the instructions there is no mention of it.
