| The fob and valet key contain an embedded RFID (radio frequency identification). If car does not recognize the RFID it won't start. Could be wiring, the DAS (drive authentication system) module, or the coil around the lock, but if the valet key works like you I'd suspect the fob. Where did you get it? |
