Hey guys,

Performance results after driving all day:

This new cold front is definitely a warm welcome (no pun intended ). At first it took a while for the ECU to adapt (maybe about 20-30 min of driving). But tonight I was lugging around 5 passengers and EVEN with 5 passengers the car was slamming everyone into their seats (with 5 people it feels like it used to with just 2 people). I was extremely impressed with the torque responce throughout the power band. At night time it got down to under 40 degrees when i was driving by myself and finally when i got a few open stretches of road i floared it and the car just pinned me to my seats like it never has before. And more importantly the car pulls hard all the way to redline. It could be the extremely cold weater or even psycological (though i highly doubt it). I really do feel like something has changed in the overall behavior of the car. Also this technically should help make the A/F readings more accurate since the tail pipe sniffer will now acurately get a mixture of both cylinder banks instead of just one. I am trying my best to compile as much data as possible. Based on how cheap it is to do this mod I decided its not economically feasible to mass produce a set b/c you can make it on your own for so cheap. as a result I just said forget it and people can just copy what I did instead for $160 installed.

In this cold, getting traction in below 45 degrees can be entertaining lol. With what feels like more power, and colder temps (tires & asphalt) even with traction control fully engagued I got the tires spinning up to about 15-20mph, definitely alot of fun .

I cannot wait to get dyno's on monday. Hopefully the weather is good and the car is performing at max capability by then (i hear its usually 3 full days to adapt so that should give me just enough time before the dyno to get the car up to maximum potential). Also, I feel like crusing around is much easier (much less throttle required) almost like there is more torque in part throttle applications (again this may also be the extreme cold, but who knows).

Sound: Tonight the car sounded AMAZING. The car has a deep thunderous grunt, its not a load roar per say but it just sounds like thunder is following me around everywhere i go haha. Its a VERY deep grunt/ roar. Its hard to describe but its very welcome. All my friends commented on how refined yet meaty the exhaust sounded, not too loud but sounds great with windows down and to outsiders. Its almost so low that the human ear can barely year it (if you know what i mean). and no annoying unwanted resonance at certain rpms.

Overall i couldn't be happier with the results. The car pulls tremendously strong and sounds exactly how a OEM E55 AMG should have sounded from the factory. I cannot wait to see the dyno results, hopefully this will help eleviate some of my A/F issues (assuming the numbers i got originially were even accurate). Take care boys
