| Giuliani would easily win in a general election no matter who ran against him. It would be good to see a consensus choice among the left and right in the WH. Unfortunately, the Repubs are probably too myopic to nominate him (as shown by their failure to nominate McCain in 00). I bet they nominate McCain who is now damaged goods and won't be nearly as appealing as he was when he could claim to talk straight. |
