I never heard of such a model - also no limited production ones. There were however rumors of several experimental versions of W112 with 3.5 and 6.3 engines. But since W112 Coupe production ended in 1967 - a '69 experimental seem's more than unlikely.
Your coupe is obviously a low grille version, which would make it a W111 - since there was now low grille W112. The licence plate illumination makes it a Euro model as well as the headlight/foglight/turnsignal configuration. The bumpers are W111 as well - since the W112 had no rubber inserts. |
I would tend to agree with you. There is one identical to that (except RHD) here in Dublin which I have seen at several meets. Never thought it was particularly rare.
