I take it you mean the 57?
I do not think that the chassis for either Maybach is actually a W140 chassis but during it`s development a strenghthened and lenghthened chassis of a S600 was used as a test mule. Apparently the W220 chassis was not considered as either it or it`s air suspension was not strong enough to carry the weight that the Maybach would have.
So whilst the Maybach chassis is not an actual W140 chassis it does come from the same family and has it`s DNA.
Actually when you look at the Maybach it has quite a few styling cues from the greatest S Class ever built.
