| I have an 84 500SEC and I have had 2 different part# idle control units over the years. Either #002 545 40 32 (euro) or #002 545 33 32 will work. I am not sure if there is a difference. I do know they both go bad over time. Regarding the idle air valve, I would clean it up and install the correct rubber parts and valve and you won't have any problems for a long time. Those parts are easy to find. |
