| Engine operating temp
Does anyone know what the normal operating temperature range is for a 560 SEL? I realize it depends on the type of driving you do. I'm concerned about mostly city driving. My gauge reads between the 80c and the line before 120c when it was 87F. I'm assuming that's 100c. I always get a little nervous when it reaches the 100c mark but would like to see what everyone else averages. I live in Michigan where the outside temp flunctuates from low single digits in the winter and 90+F in the summer. The manual suggests normal engine temp can run up to just before the red line... but that would make me real nervous! |
