| Did a bit more research, popped into the dealer's parts department, chatted with one of the service managers and guess what I found out? The early W203's actually did come with a blue cloth toolkit roll, similar to that with the W202's. The later W203's did away with this, part of the general cheapening of materials & cost reductions, I guess. For those who may be interested, the part no. is a2035800003 and contains the following :
1. a0005810317 - Reversible screwdriver
2. a1205810246 - Lugnut wrench
3. a0005810654 - Fuse Pliers
4. a1295810038 - Channel-lock pliers
5. a1264030074 - Wheel centering pin
6. a1405890101 - Open-end wrench 8/10
7. a1405890001 - Open-end wrench 13/17
And the cloth tie-up bag, of course. I assume that the previous owner 'retained' this toolbag, and left me with only the lugnut wrench & wheel pin. I am now looking around ebay to try to get a replacement set on the cheap! |
