| I can't help but think that if it were my SLK that got hit like that, there would certainly have been less intrusion into the passenger cabin (more reinforced structure that is closer together near the door) - but my head would still likely have hit the bumper of the durango. However, I'm willing to bet it really wasn't intrusion that killed the 4 out 5 people in the C, it was the violent head snap to the side by a high speed crash. Really, there isn't any car that could have helped that.
Plus, if it had been the C that ran the red light, there would be shearing along its side, and less intrusion. |
