it rarely happens like that for some reason but the best place to start is the code reader.
if anything i would get to a mercedes benz specialist, note 'specialist' and not a dealer.
a dealer tens to lead you a yarn instead of a specialist who is glad of your custom, thus providing a better service.
plus a benz stealer is more interested in the newer models than our 124s
