Breifly..
Dealer promised a track day.
Then said its not happening!
When I negotiated the purchase of my SLK the dealer offered an track day invite to my wife and I, it was verbal and I failed to get anything in writing.
Last year we never got invited, but to keep me happy after several issues with the car (worst being the phone kit not working for 9 months) I was promised an invite on the 2006 track day.
I called just now to ask what the date would be, only to be let down. I was told this year there are no track days and perhaps next year it will happen.
I find it frustrating that they offered this at time of the sale, then to appease me and now effectivly withdrawn the offer.
Does anyone know if Mercedes UK or dealers do have scheduled track days this year, and how places are typically allocated.
