Here's a question, the new 63AMG engine boasts over 500hp, however, the torque has been decreased from over 500 to 465 (as compared to the 55AMG). What's everyone's opinion on this? Seems to me that it's a
PR ploy to attract the majority of people that are "uber"-concentrated on simply hp instead of also considering torque. Knowing that the trend of buyers is to concentrate on hp, seems like AMG opted to increase the hp to boast the 500 mark and attract buyers, even though they're compromising the torque substantially. Basically, what I'm asking is, is this 63AMG engine really better - if even as good as the 55AMG engine?
