Cars registered on or after 1st March 2001 which fall into Band F (CO2 emissions 186 and above) will have their annual rate of duty increased by £25.00 for Diesel and Petrol Cars, Alternative Fuel Cars will have their annual rate increased by £20.00.

A new emission band has been introduced for vehicles newly registered from 23rd March 2006. Band G will encompass CO2 emissions figures 226 g/km and above
(350 is I think 241 g/km)
