I'm not concerned about the width.. at least it may make people here respect the lanes if there was a tree and a post on one side and an oncoming car on the other. It's just the aweful quality of the road surface. I'd agree with you, out side of town on the major roads there not too bad. But in the whole dfw area where I live it seems it's not a problem having a 3" high step across the surface.

Move to Austin, just stay away from campus, and downtown, and your car will be fine. And I'm not just saying that so i can give it a spin.[:D]
