I replaced my brake handle, door pulls and their centre ovals when i changed my pieces to designo leather ones. Once you get the new pieces in your hand it will be very obvious how to remove the old pieces as you will be able to see where the plastic clips that hold these pieces in place are located.

It took me less than 5 mins to do. the only piece to watch out for is the handbrake handle. Mine was glued down in addition to the plastic clips. Start from the rear when removing this particular piece.
Thanks so much for the info. I was able to replace the pieces without too much trouble. The only problem I am having is with the long silver trim above the glove box. There seems to be little slots at the bottom of the piece but I'm not sure if I need to stick something up there or not. I don't want to break anything, so I'm being very gentle. Anyone????
