One day though, a nail found its way into the back right tire, so he went to the local Firestone shop to get it patched or plugged. They do so and give him an added bonus, scuff marks on his immaculate wheel. I don't think I can accurate describe the color of red in face other than "Chuck Norris red once his family was killed by Ninja's." Of course the tire place said "we didn't do that, our tools won't make those marks." Funny thing about service guys who lie (this doesn't always work with managers), they hate eye contact. Stare at them long enough and they'll crack, sure enough he did and offered to re-finish the wheel. After much debate my friend simply said "why don't you get your manager and order a new wheel." Sure enough that worked, about 3 weeks later he had a new wheel. The moral of the story is....uhm...ahh...most service places are crooks [?][:D]

Another moral of the story is, never to take your car to a chain tire outlets like Firestone, discount, Big-O, it's not their fault, even if they are extremely careful with your wheels they will scuff it up, it is their tools that scatch it, take it to a specialize wheel shop. I paid double to have mine tires mounted and balance but it's worth it.
The chuck norris part is hilarious. lol... good thing they replace your friend's wheels, sometimes they don't admit to it even though they know their equipment sucks and causes scuff marks.
