I bought a 280GE 1989 for 6 month ago. 180000km
A great car, but you will probably find rust.
- My both rear springs where broken.
- Gas tank, in the top. A friend to me asked me if I had removed the small inspection door above the gas tank. Now I know why he asked... rust.
- Remove the door panel and check for rust, you will find.
- Gas hose close to gas tank.
- Check the transmission if the change of gear is smooth.
