My wife managed to go a little over a year before her first bout of "curb rash" on her Lexus wheels. After that, she managed to hit two of the other wheels within a few weeks of each other, so now there's only one that isn't scraped. I told her that if she scrapes the SLK wheels, I'm going to use it as an excuse to buy a new set of 5-spoke wheels. So far, it's worked. No scrapes. [:D] If I cause the scrape, I guess I should also buy a new set of 5-spokes. LOL.
Wonder how long it takes the average person to get that first scrape on their wheels? I've seen some older cars that don't have any - probably because they don't parallel park. I'm guessing that Julien's wheels are probably flawless. [;)]
