| RE: 86 190e 2.3 fuel delivery problems I got it running! The only problem is that I'm not 100% sure how.
1. I disconnected the battery to reset the computer. (I had installed the new components mentioned above without doing this.)
2. I switched AFM's one last time
3. I checked my idle valve connections again.
4. The used fuel distributor that I bought smelled like varnish, like it had been sitting for some time, so I blew it out with compressed air.
Can anyone eliminate one or more of these items from being the solution? My main goal is to re-sell one or more of my spare AFM's, but want to make sure that they are not problematic. I guess I could re-install each of them to check them, but it seems like there would be a better way to tell.
Also, the car idles extremely high, around 2000-2400 RPM's. Any suggestions? |
