I actually discussed this with my dealer today as I was finalizing my order. What I was told was that the car comes pre-wired for cell phone integration, however you must decide either to purchase a cradle interface or bluetooth. My dealer told me that you can now purchase a cradle for any type of phone that you have, such as the Motorola RAZR, and you would simply dock the phone in the car as you have done in the previous S-Class, and the phone utilizes the car's power source as well as antenna. If you choose the bluetooth option, the phone no longer docks in the car, rather it stays with you and communicates with the car via the bluetooth technology but uses its own battery power and antenna. As far as I know, the phone will function the same, regardless of what you choose, but apparently the bluetooth module supposedly drains the cell phone battery very quickly. Sadly, the dealerships still are not clear on all the details, but so far, I believe this information is pretty accurate, however I'm still skeptical that if you choose the docking cradle, you can use any phone with bluetooth capability. Up until now, you had to choose from a selection of phones available from either Cingular, T-Mobile, or Verizon, but as I mentioned earlier, this should not be the case with the '07 S-Class.
