hey guys, i just bought a 1988 420sel and the radio doesnt work, im going to replace it but i dont know how to remove. and also i heard that the speakers are hooked to the amps do you guys know anything about that. thanks
I have the same problem (kind of). My radio still works but it gets all kinds of radio interference which results in an annoying buzzing sound out of the speakers everytime i get a phone call on my cell. I've gone to a couple of radio stores, and one of them told me that I would have to bypass my (low freq) speaker to use the radio. I don't want to do that. Does anyone know how the sub speakers are wired. Are the seperate amps for them. IF so, why couldn't I just attach the new radio's sub preamp out to them. Any help would be apprieciated.
Thanks
Rich M
