Sounds like your accumulators are shot. The rear end of that car should feel Planted.. You should also have the 5 link suspension bushings/arms checked. How many miles on that car?

Easiest way to flush the system is undo the return line on top of the resevoir, attach a hose/catch can to it. Run the car till the level gets very low..start adding new fluid. You're done when the fluid out of the return is clear.

To clean the screen/install a filter unscrew the SLS resevoir cap, pull all the stuff out.. You'll see the screen, remove that give it a clean. Pick up a 123 SLS filter and drop that inside the screen.

Installation is the oppostite of removal;-)
