You're lucky! In the rural areas here (about 80% of the state) you are expected to acknowledge any car that passes with the 'Two fingers off the steering wheel and head tilt' combo. This can get very tiring and if you are distracted and forget the wave/head tilt you are sure to find a cross burned in your front yard later that day.
Seriously, take Shabah's advice--the one finger wave gets a lot of attention. Especially if you shout 'stupid prick' at the same time.[:)] |
