I took some pictures of the remaining bearing parts.
(how can I upload them into my posts?)
Both races are still in one piece (each) but all the rollers are spewed out. This all happened appr. 600mi after a mechanic replace bearings and seals on both sides. I had a oily/moist brake carier and thought first it was a leaking wheel cylinder - but it was a tiny axle-oil leak. now this......
There was also plenty of gear oil in the axle - the failed bearing had suffient oil to work - no offroad just a bit around town driving and one trip to Seaworld San Diego - can't find any root causes.
