I took my bumper off myself and the local MB dealer repainted it for $150. I was very pleased with the result. Perfect color match for my Diamond Silver SLK. You do need an SUV or pickup to transport the bumper. Unfortunately, it needs to be repainted again.

Thought some of you may want to know. Went to an MB certified body shop and they quoted $490 to take the AMG bumper off and painted the scratched bottom. Not too bad after low insurance deductible of $250.
