| Gasoline Fumes
Has anyone experienced a problem with gasoline fumes inside and surrounding their Mercedes?
One serious flaw that I have yet to have resolved in my 2006 E350 is the presence of gas fumes inside the passenger area and around the rear of the car. The dealer replace some parts pertaining to the gasline and filler venting system, a charcoal filter cannister, the gas cap, and possibly other things but the problem is still there.
After sitting undriven for a week, the fumes were worse than ever - leaving me with the feeling I was riding in a Molotov Cocktail. Needless to say, it's back in the shop once again but I am forever going to worry about the safety of riding in this vehicle.
