BeeJay - Have you read the manual of your CLS? If you do you will find a superb system to stop your car rolling back, forwards and even make the hill starts real easy. If you push firmly down on the brake once stopped it automatically applies the brake and keeps it on until you touch the accelerator to go. You can tell when it is applied because the display indicated something like SBC H. If you read the manual it tells you how to apply it. |
