'Staggering' is used in some markets because it is possible to fit a wider rear wheel - it doesn't turn and so the wheelarch does not have to be larger.
Because it is possible to fit a larger rear wheel on some platforms, many customers choose it because they are told to!
In some markets, this practice is forbidden.
There is a massive choice of wheels both AMG and non-AMG in 18" and 19". The S500 'Didfa' and S600 forged 'Segin' wheel in 18" are nice looking, and are much lighter than the AMG wheels. |
